Designing learning experiences that make complex ideas approachable.

I design thoughtful learning experiences that help learners explore complex ideas with clarity and curiosity. My work blends instructional design, storytelling, and interactive learning to create experiences that feel purposeful, engaging, and memorable.

My Approach to Learning Design

Good learning design doesn't start with content. It starts with curiosity about how people learn, where confusion begins, and what helps ideas finally click.

Start With Curiosity

Some of my best learning experiences started with a simple question:
Why is this idea confusing for learners?

Before designing anything, I spend time thinking about the learner’s perspective.
What do they already believe? What assumptions are they bringing with them?

When learning begins with curiosity instead of just delivering information, people are far more likely to stay engaged.

Make Complex Ideas Feel Clear

My background in science taught me something important: complicated ideas can become approachable when they’re structured well.

I focus on breaking concepts into meaningful pieces and designing experiences that help learners connect those pieces together.

Sometimes that means a visual explanation. Sometimes it’s a scenario or activity that lets learners explore the idea themselves.

The goal is always the same: help learners make sense of something that once felt overwhelming.

Design With Real Learners in Mind

Learning design doesn’t end when the content is finished.

I pay attention to how learners actually move through an experience. Where they slow down. Where they get stuck. Where something finally clicks.

Those observations guide revisions that improve clarity and engagement over time. The design gets stronger because it’s shaped by the people it’s meant to support.
